MY BACK STORY AND SPIRITUAL JOURNEY

Before retiring, I worked with business and resource planning systems; so began my interest and understanding of the holistic and interconnected world we share. My spiritual journey is about witnessing and reverencing the awesome profundity of the divine in the smallest and most ordinary.

I began to explore Thomas Berry and Brian Swimme's New Universe Story and Cosmology about twenty years ago. With the guidance and spiritual direction from Veronica Blake and the encouragement of Conce Gonzalez, directors at Full Circle House of Prayer, I began to experience the beautiful revelation; all life is interconnected and part of the sacred.

CONTINUING THE JOURNEY

Attending master classes in theology from Marygrove College, I became interested in the soulfulness and nascent ideas surrounding spirituality and theology experienced through my lens of Biblical scripture. I've since continued my masters in Culture and Spirituality, at Holy Names University's Sophia Center. At Sophia Center, I immerse myself in Thomas Berry's vision of The Great Work of Our Time. I consider myself a soulful learner, one who tries to see the unknown and mystery at work in our lives
